To be eligible for the exam, candidates must score a minimum aggregate of 60% on the mid and end term exams held during the program. Once they meet this requirement, they can begin the charter process, which involves submitting their assignment and completing the thesis defense, typically within one month.

Candidates who do not pass the Stoa charter exam will still receive a program completion certificate and graduate as a Stoa fellow. However, those who pass the charter exam will also be awarded a digital badge and certificate as a Stoa Charterholder. This badge is a symbol of achievement and signifies that the candidate has demonstrated their competence in front of an external jury, placing them among the top performers and merit holders in the Stoa program.
